Verdict

After getting off the mark at Exeter, Timeforatune failed to land the odds at Taunton and is taking on better company here. He was also 15 lengths behind MASTER CHEWY at Chepstow earlier and is 6lb worse off. The latter was desperately unlucky at Ascot next time as he was clear when over-jumping and falling at the last and compensation awaits here with a clear round. Gentle Slopes, the winner of a point and two bumpers, is a potentially interesting recruit to hurdling and has more scope than Kiki Badger and Commander Of Ten but Attacca beat a previous winner at Kempton when the first two pulled well clear.
