Verdict

Several of these are better known as chasers, most notably the former Gold Cup runner-up Might Bite whose presence means that the bottom half-dozen will be carrying more than their allotted weight. Recent course and distance winner Goodbye Dancer is 4lb out of the handicap but Market Rasen scorer Rapper is only a pound wrong and Mason Jar has come of age this season. The Jam Man travels over from Ireland on a five-timer and Skandiburg won nicely at Aintree. Ask Dillon was third at Chepstow last Friday but may find this coming around too soon. KILBRICKEN STORM faded out of contention behind Goodbye Dancer here on his reappearance but that was a very encouraging effort following wind surgery and he’ll strip much fitter today.
