        Verdict

        PAX BRITANNICA remains 4lb higher than when winning this last year but a recent second here suggests David Simcock’s filly will make another bold bid. Lady Elysia has done all her winning on Turf so far and placed at Bath last month while Artemis Sky failed to see out the 2m trip at Kempton last time but went close when last racing over today’s distance. Wadacre Gogo completed a double in August but hasn’t figured since.
