This is a competitive contest for its type. Gazette Bourgeoise was running well in handicaps at the start of the year and Call The Fairies found only one too good at Sedgefield having a first start for Richard Newland while Aurelia Or was progressive last season. Rocked Up should do better now hurdling and So Said I wasn’t far behind the useful Dragon Bones at Newton Abbot in May. Runwiththetide was no match for a useful novice at Chepstow but will strip fitter today. I SPY A DIVA would have won at Huntingdon had her jumping been more slick. She finished clear of the third and can only improve on that. Sharp Shadow has won a point so stamina won’t be an issue.
