In depth

Verdict

Kitaabaat won at Doncaster when upped to 1m4f and can figure again if lasting home while Berrahri was narrowly beaten over today’s trip before scoring over 1m4f at Epsom. Machine Learner was also placed over 1m6f at Sandown on a couple of occasions in July but preference is for LADY BERGAMOT (NAP). James Fanshawe’s mare was only beaten a length in a tougher Class 2 contest over course and distance last time and a similar effort should see her come out best in this. Stablemate The Pinto Kid and the returning Big Challenge are others with something to prove over this extra distance.
