      Verdict

      Chookie Royale is at home in this grade but drops back in trip. He likes to race prominently but whether he can go fast enough to keep the dedicated sprinters at bay is another matter and TROJAN ROCKET (NAP) arrives in flying form. Michael Wigham's charge landed a hat-trick with a course and distance success last month, beating subsequent winner Mappin Time in the process, and is the one to beat in this. Ballista is capable on his day and has slipped down the weights but finished behind the improving Mishaal when the latter was third at Lingfield last time. Golden Amber is proving hard to win with but still preferred at this level to both Quiet Warrior and Salvatore Fury.
