      Verdict

      There looks more to come from the progressive MON FRERE, despite carrying a penalty. He scored over track and trip before last week’s success at Lingfield and the hat-trick beckons for Sir Mark Prescott’s charge. Samba Saravah left previous form behind to score over a shorter trip at Newcastle on his handicap debut and has been gelded since while Wolverhampton winner Wanaasah found only one too good under a penalty last time and carries 6lb extra once again. Manton Warrior is preferred to Strindberg of the remainder.
