In depth

Verdict

Long Tradition went close over a longer trip at Windsor last month and the Godolphin charge has been gelded since. But the four-year-old is conceding weight to VOICE OF WISDOM, who won in good style over today’s distance at Bath recently and can defy a penalty in this with any further progress. Robert Walpole hasn’t raced since 2019 but the Haggas newcomer Pride Of Priory may prove a danger as a full-brother to a winner on the all-weather.
