In depth

Verdict

Excellent George showed some potential on Turf last summer and could hardly have been found a weaker maiden to make his return to action while O Dee showed good pace for a long way on his debut at Lingfield last month and should improve enough to pose a threat. However, the newcomer BUSHEPHALUS cost £48,000 as a yearling and is out of a very speedy mare from a classy sprint family so he could be good enough to make a successful debut. Big City Boy is rated 49 and is yet to win in 20 starts but Clumber Street did well enough as a juvenile to be considered despite a very long absence.
