      Verdict

      A course and distance winner at the start of the year, Aldreth has held his form well and is one to consider. But REMEMBER THE MAN (NAP) is less exposed and won a shade cosily at Lingfield recently when stepped up to today’s trip. There should be more to come from Ralph Beckett’s charge and he’s also preferred to Bracken Brae, who landed a lower grade contest over track and trip last month but was returned a losing favourite here during the week. Katie Gale has been thereabouts at Southwell lately but seems best at that track nowadays.
