        Verdict

        Athassel bids for a hat-trick under a double penalty but his amateur’s allowance reduces the burden. Joanna Mason has won twice on Space War before and the latter arrives on the back of a win at Lingfield while Commanche was successful at Wolverhampton on his latest start and can effectively race off a lower mark if taking his rider’s claim into account. The latter comment also applies to BEAU MISTRAL, a dual winner in January and beaten only a head over track and trip subsequently. Tony Carroll’s charge should go close again in this.
