Hoofalong may well have been successful at Pontefract last month had he got away on terms and this extra furlong may help. Secret Asset got back to winning over 5f here nine days ago while Red Stripes and Dominium are previous course and distance winners, though the latter was third behind Aldayha over 7f at Kempton last month. MAGNUS MAXIMUS (NAP) won at Ascot in September and has continued in good form. He was given plenty to do when third over track and trip 10 days ago and should get closer today if ridden nearer the pace. Spirit of Zeb is slowly coming down the weights and could be more interesting than Musselburgh winner Pea Shooter over this trip.
