Cherries At Dawn went close over a longer trip at Wolverhampton and is preferred of the older horses while Dame Malliot is penalised for December’s debut success at the latter track. Geizy Teizy returned to action with a victory at Windsor while Qamka represents last year’s winning yard but was well beaten in third on her debut. WHIMBREL also finished third at Haydock on her reappearance despite failing to get a clear run and it’s John Gosden’s filly that gets the vote stepping up in trip today. Albanderi is a half-sister to a Group 2 winner in Germany and preferred to Hindaam and Astral Girl of the newcomers.
