      Bonnie Lad needed every yard of the mile trip here to get his head in front with previous winner Puffin Island back in eighth. This shorter trip may not suit him but Alcazan finished ahead of Love Baileys when scoring over 7f at Lingfield so makes some appea, despite a 5lb rise. IESHA is creeping close having just missed out over 6f at the track last week - she gets the vote given last year’s success came over today’s distance. Diamonds At Dusk drops in class on her reappearance and has more scope than most.
