In depth

Verdict

Only five runners but both Oyster Card and King Julien run from out of the weights so MASTERSON looks to have every chance of going in again in this company. The latter returned to the Flat with a cosy win over 2m here and can shrug off a 6lb penalty. The veteran Soundbyte won an amateurs’ race over today’s trip at Nottingham last year but The Lampo Genie looks no nearer getting his head back in front despite a steady slide down the weights.
