    Verdict

    The unbeaten NAHAARR won by five lengths at Newmarket on his handicap debut. A 6lb penalty looks unlikely to anchor Roger Varian’s progressive colt and he’s taken to continue winning ways. In The Cove has been raised 5lb for beating a subsequent winner at Lingfield and makes more appeal than Sonja Henie, who sports a tongue-tie for the first time, while Facethepuckout went close at Sandown in between distinctly modest efforts and Brigadier makes his handicap debut.
