        Verdict

        A low-grade seller containing plenty of deadwood and a chance for John Butler's FAIR POWER to gain reward for a sequence of consistent efforts in handicaps - form that reads well in the context of this race. He went well here last time when runner-up in a better contest and Oisin Murphy retains the ride. Charlie Wallis is doubly represented with top weight Right About Now and course and distance winner Sharp Operator with the latter nominated as the prime threat to the selection. Another course and distance scorer, Midnight Mood, will appreciate the drop in grade, as will the Hannon gelding Dawn Treader.
