        Verdict

        It will be a surprise if CAPLA GILDA (NAP) doesn’t resume winning ways in this. She made a winning start for new connections at Deauville and was just beaten here on Boxing Day. A winner on Tapeta and Polytrack for Archie Watson last season, she’s a tough filly effective over 6f and 7f and Cristian Demuro rides here in preference to Mortirolo. Einar’s latest second came in Madrid while Birthday Boy may need more time but Mazeltof can’t be ignored but is among the most exposed alongside Storm Katy. Rosedal could have each-way claims with her jockey taking off 8lb.
