        Verdict

        NAMAR looks the stand-out performer in the first of four claimers on today’s all-weather card. He is very much at home on the surface and wasn’t disgraced in a big-field handicap here last month. Roquero has to concede weight all round but still looks the pick of Andrea Marcialis’ pair and can make the frame. Madulain is probably better over further but does have a victory on an artificial surface on his resume from few attempts. Dragon's Teeth may prove best of the rest with Emotional Bushido turning in a shocker at Toulouse after getting off the mark at Orleans.
