Verdict

This looks moderate and VANITY'S GIRL is just about the only one with scope. She had no answer when Sir Maximillian quickened at Doncaster but ran on nicely and the third and fourth have both won subsequently. This should prove no problem as Cone Donkey, who looked promising when runner-up over the C&D in April, has since been well beaten in two handicaps. Zaffy was 6l behind in that C&D event and though running well on much faster ground next time she finished tailed off over 7f here last time. The remainder will need to improve to get involved.
