A modest handicap to end the card and it is with some trepidation we select Field Spark, Fairy Monarch and Hilltime may also get involved in the action. Jeremy Glover's five-year-old was successful off a similar handicap mark last May, but hasn't managed to win again after 18 attempts. However he has gone close on numerous occasions and is now weighted for victory. Hilltime wasn't beaten far behind Sir Night at Beverley last time and should appreciate this step up in trip. Meanwhille Fairy Monarch has to be respected on his close up third behind the resurgent Ulhuru Peak at Warwick last time. Many others can be given a shout on their best form including Friedhelmo and Sovereign State and so it is not with too much confidence that we select Field Spark.
