GARRA MOLLY is less exposed than the majority and gets the nod over Sir Sandicliffe and Carlton Mace. A move for Aston Lad would also be noteworthy, as he likes this course and is likely to be raring to go after a very light campaign. However, the latter may be kept busier over hurdles this winter and he needs to prove he still has the speed to be effective on the level. Carlton Mac is lightly weighted and is likely to get his ground today. He is open to improvement at this trip and is well worth noting in the betting. Sir Sandicliffe won a competitive handicap here last time out and stands his racing well. However, he is now on a career highest mark and has a bit to prove under top weight. Therefore, it can pay to take a chance that Allan Swinbank has found a suitable opportunity for Garra Molly to get off the mark. The daughter of Nayef appears best suited when the emphasis is on stamina and, as today's trip will play to her strengths, Garra Molly is fancied to rise to the challenge today.
