Efidium Won a poor maiden at Southwell in December, but unplaced in three subsequent starts. Others preferred on his return to turf.
Pertemps Jardine (IRE) Quite lightly raced and should strip fitter for recent run at Southwell, but overall form does not look good enough.
Rainbow River (IRE) Some reasonable all-weather runs this winter, combined with a placed effort at Leicester last September, give him some sort of chance in this poor race.
Tuscan Flyer Failed to show much form in four starts last season and best watched on this, his first outing for five months.
Arran Mist Fairly lightly-raced filly with a bit of scope. Best effort last year came on firm ground, but if she is fit and handles the surface she would certainly enter calculations.
Chartleys Princess Ran in some fair races last season and placed a couple of times, so could be one to watch here if she's fit enough. Trainer has already been successful this turf season, so one for the shortlist.
Clansinge Failed to sparkle on all-weather this winter but clearly has a chance on last year's juvenile turf form, including a fast ground victory in a Beverley claimer.
French Bramble (IRE) Best effort last year came when fourth in a Newcastle maiden but overall she seems to have had plenty of chances and not an obvious choice in this.
Gemtastic Won a race on sand at Lingfied in November but has been tumbling down the ratings of late. If she returns fresh to turf she would have a great chance on her best form.
Liberty Bound Improved effort when second at Southwell recently, and if she can confirm that back on turf she would also come into the reckoning here.
Patrician Fox (IRE) Placed several times last year in moderate company. Seems a consistent enough filly but fairly exposed and may not quite be good enough.
Raahyeh (USA) She's only ever raced on sand so far, and has something to find with Liberty Bound on recent Southwell form. It remains to be seen if she can do better on turf.
