KOCHANSKI is holding his form well just now and can take this modest handicap; possibly at the main expense of old rival Saffron's Son. Addison De Witt is also respected as a big threat and, along with Diktalina, is worthy of consideration. The last named would appreciate a big rain before the off, though. Addison De Witt proved his versatility regarding the ground by winning on similar going at Newcastle earlier this month. As he is set to race from just a 2lb higher mark, Mickey Hammond's charge has to come into the reckoning on these terms. Saffron's Son has faltered behind the selection on a couple of occasions and needs everything to go his way. However, it's interesting that his connections are willing to have another crack, so he may be a viable alternative for an each-way play. However, Konchanski has really started to blossom of late and, as he has a proven heart for a battle, the three-year-old has the right credentials to make an immediate impact for his new yard.
