Nine Stories can successfully give weight away to the field here and gets the vote ahead of Drastic Measure and Pat Haslam's pair Mission Impossible and Prigsnov Dancer. The selection stayed on strongly to win at Ayr last time out and ran as if ready for this step up in trip. The form looks solid (third run well in the Winsdor Castle Stakes at Ascot since) and having been given a break to freshen him up, Nine Stories can win again on ground that is not a problem. Sir Mark Prescott is adept at placing his horse in nursery's to rack up a sequence and he saddles Drastic Measure here. She steps up two furlongs in trip which should suit on breeding and she may have been underestimated off a mark of 73 (tongue tied for the first time). Pequeno Dinero steps up again having won a claimer last time out, whilst Romantic Destiny has always been the bridesmaid so far but her turn to be the bride shouldn't be far away now stepped up in trip. On a form line through Russian Reel, Mission Impossible is held by the selection but there may be more to come, whilst stablemate Prigsnov Dancer has been running in sellers and claimers and needs to improve now upped in trip. A tough puzzle, and the betting will help, however we will stick with the proven performer Nine Stories.
