A competitive claimer in which a case (with many holes in) can be made for plenty of the runners. Spiritual Peace looks the most reliable though and he gets the nod ahead of Danish Blues, Maromito and Lake Chino. Kevin Ryan's four-year-old was held in high regard as a juvenile but things have evidently not gone according to plan. He showed a good attitude when winning less than a week ago and assuming this race doesn't come too soon, he must have strong claims. Maromito was unruly when last seen and lost all chance after swerving violently right out of the gates. If we judge him on his win at Musselburgh back in May then he looks a live threat. Danish Blues is one of the more consistent performers in the lineup, however he is yet to win on the turf after 11 attempts. She's Our Beauty and Chairman Bobby both need a check as course and distance winners, however of more interest may be Lake Chini although like Danish Blues he is better on an artificial surface. A competitive affair, however we will side with Spiritual Peace.
