        Verdict

        Yahrab was winning on the Flat for the first time since 2008 when scoring in soft ground at Thirsk last time. This looks easier if he handles the faster going. He had April's C&D winner Light The City behind at Thirsk and the latter looks to be struggling off his current mark but Lakeman went close at Southwell last time and could be thereabouts along with recent Doncaster third Zaplamation. O MA LAD posted a better effort when lowered into this grade at Newbury a week ago and the handicapper has given him a chance dropping him 4lb for finishing second. Sylvester Kirk's charge can go one better here.
