Verdict

Brian Ellison sent out last year’s winner and THE DANCING POET has now won four times here after scoring on soft going over track and trip last time. A 4lb rise is reduced by and apprentice’s allowance and he can go in again. Squeezebox and Shazam have winning form over 1m2f and the latter has gone close over this longer trip in the past while Sanction also scored over 1m2f at Nottingham on her handicap debut. Ring Fenced and Heathen have won on the all-weather this year and Molinari slips further down the weights.
