Not the easiest of races to end the day with, as many of these are lightly-raced and open to improvement. They include Des, who disappointed on his last couple of starts last year, but had earlier shaped with plenty of promise in two races at Pontefract, and who could go well here for Jamie Spencer. Outeast won a maiden auction race at Redcar for Mark johnston last year, but showed nothing on her reappearance for her new stable and is probably best watched here. Dunn Deal showed some promise under a quiet ride on his reappearance at Thirsk and is one for the shortlist, but we just prefer African Spur. Twice a winner at two, he showed up well on his reappearance at Brighton in a race that has worked out well. Paul Blockley has his horses in good form, and any market mnoves for him would be worth noting.
