It is interesting that David Barker sends out DARCY'S PRIDE under a penalty and given that last time she won she managed to follow up we will take her to repeat the does from what is still an attractive mark. Despite that 5f Redcar win last time she remains 1lb below the mark she won off at Carlisle last summer, and with the yard in form and this trip not beyond her we will stick with the mare. Angaric has not won for three years but some good efforts in defeat means that the handicapper has been in control. We fear the same fate awaits here today with the stable taking time to get going. Brighton scorer Conjecture reappears after a five month break and has trip and ground to suit, so he can make his presence felt from this mark. Mandalay King needs a drop in the weights and we prefer the claims of Darcy's Pride.
