In depth

Verdict

ROYAL CONNOISSEUR (NAP) found only one too good off this mark on soft going at Carlisle last month and has won over track and trip on easy ground off a higher mark. They often plot a wide course here when the going is soft so stall 10 may not be too much of a disadvantage. Extrasolar is a regular here and has won twice over track and trip this season, though the ground has turned against him. It’s more than a year since Johnny Cavagin was last seen on Turf but he has been lightly campaigned this season. Ninjago would have every chance at the weights but has been slightly below par lately. Vallarta looks the pick of the remainder.
