The Michael Dodds stable is running into form and his runner Sound And Vision is chosen to land this very competitive event, Michaels Pride and Cool Sands are also expected to go close. The selection showed plenty of promise in maidens during the early part of last season. His only handicap run came in October when he was very disappointing. However he may have had enough for the season by then and he looks very interesting off today's mark. Michaels Pride is one of Mark Johnston's lesser lights but has shown enough in maidens to suggest he can land a small race, he should be involved in the finish. Cool Sands, a winner on the all-weather in February, was well beaten behind Guildenstern recently. That however was a better race than this and the winner has gone in again since. Best of the remainder could be Saxon Lil, but Sound And Vision looks the pick of the weights today and gets the verdict.
