An open handicap where we will take a chance on one debuting in this sphere, INGENUE, to prevail, while Elite Land and Harcas can have their say. Sir Mark Prescott trains the selection, which should set a few alarm bells ringing among the bookies with this Hernando filly racing from a mark of just 45 and blinkered for the first time. There is every chance she will show improvement for the headgear and the longer trip here, while the ground is no problem and we will chance her. Elite Land handles conditions, although is arguably better with cut, and does have a bit to prove having never won beyond 12f. Harcas is 3lbs higher than when winning over the trip on fast ground at Redcar but consistency is not his strong suit as evidenced by a thrashing at Musselburgh last time. Fell Pack looks a doubtful stayer, while Lady Sorcerer has no stamina issues, but the ground is the concern for her. Terminate is capable from this handy mark but is another who may not stay, so we'll side with Ingenue.
