Verdict

FABIANSKI was a wide-margin winner of a maiden at Wetherby last month and she’s difficult to oppose in this with that experience under her belt. Valkenburg was third at Musselburgh on his hurdling debut but ran a shocker here subsequently when well behind Dagian and Highland Bobby. Gemologist is a rare runner over timber for Mark Johnston but was only placed once on the Flat in nine attempts. Echo looks best of the newcomers as he wasn’t disgraced in two runs on the level here in October and did win over a mile as a juvenile.
