A competitive race for the grade and plenty hold solid chances on the best of their form. However, a slender preference is for It's Harry, who gains a narrow verdict over Howayboys Quest, Northern Minster and Vulcan Lane, who reverts to hurdles after looking decidedly shaky on his chasing bow last time. Only Words is also worth monitoring in the betting and could go well for each way players at a fair price. But It's Harry arrives here on the back of a couple of good efforts in defeat - his third to Patriarch Express at Haydock reading particularly well in the context of this race. The Sue Smith-trained six-year-old has shown a liking for some cut in the ground and, with conditions to suit, It's Harry can start paying his way by carrying top weight, less his rider's 7lb claim, to victory today.
