A competitive claimer to get the card underway and JANE OF ARC is nominated to land it with Court Of Appeal who has four lengths to make on the selection from their clash last time and Mister Fizzbomb looking the main dangers. A combination of a drop in grade, quick ground and aggressive tactics looked the key to Jane Of Arc last time where she was sent about her business two furlongs from home and won very easily in the end. Admittedly this is a better contest to that Musselburgh event but Jim Goldie's filly won in the style of a filly who is getting to grips with things and she can land this. Court Of Appeal is a regular in this grade but this trip may prove just to be on the sharp side at this stage of his career. Mister Fizzbomb, without a win in almost 12 months and faces a stiff task on the ratings. The pace is likely to be fast and furious here with quite a number liking to race up with the pace and that will not be to his liking as he likes to dictate matters. Tsarozy looks to have lost his way a bit and is not currently running to his rating and now has something to prove as he drops into this grade for the first time. Jafra is much better off at the weights with Mister Fizzbomb based on their clash at Redcar recently. The fast pace which is likely to materialise will suit a hold-up performer like Jafra but Jane Of Arc is selected to land this claimer.
