This is a competitive nursery handicap in which Pro Tempore, Secret Pact and Caitlin have all got claims and we will nominate Pro Tempore as the one they all have to beat. The selection is a lightly-raced filly who lost no caste in defeat when third behind Kingsgate Bay at Carlisle last time. She should appreciate this step up in trip and as she is still open to plenty of improvement she looks the one they all have to beat. Secret Pact won well when defeating Kumala Ocean at Carlisle last time. That was a decent effort and this colt has solid form so will not be far away at the finish. However, his stable is not firing on all cylinders and he is narrowly passed over. Caitlin is a game filly and she stuck at her task well to beat The Pen last time at Redcar. However, this race looks tougher and as she was all out to win that day she will have to improve again to get her head in front. Brace of Doves was disappointing last time out but would be a danger to all on his best form, however he has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Pro Tempore.
