Verdict

REDROSEZORRO (NAP) is back on familiar territory having completed a double here in August. The ground has also come right again for Eric Alston’s charge after two runs on quicker surfaces so he can pick up the winning thread again. Paddy Power finally showed some signs of life when second at Pontefract but is back up again in grade here. The Armed Man prefers galloping tracks and Mr Orange also needs a more searching test but Medicine Jack can’t get much lower in the weights and had winning form on this surface in Ireland. Zapper Cass has been in decent form so can’t be ignored.
