        Verdict

        Captain Corcoran won this last year and is only 1lb higher while Auckland Lodge has been here twice and won both though not since 2019. REFUGE gained his only success at Musselburgh in October but he's been running well and a narrow defeat by Van Gerwen at Ripon would probably be good enough to see these off. King Crimson has managed to win a dozen races including here at the beginning of the month. He then failed by a short-head at Brighton and should make a bold bid to defy a 3lb rise.
