      Verdict

      Poppy Petal was conceding 4lb when beaten three lengths by I'm A Gambler at Hamilton where she led until the final furlong. She's receiving 1lb on this sharper track so should close the gap. Chester winner Mercurial started odds-on at Wolverhampton but didn't look suited by the surface and tackles 6f for the first time. GOLDEN RAINBOW has started odds-on in three of his four starts, scoring on Polytrack at Lingfield in May. He was attempting to concede the winner 10lb back there last time and can get back on the winning trail. Latin Lover scored over Beverley's stiff 5f and has run in much better company the last twice while Bay Breeze isn't out of it.
