In depth

Verdict

QUERCUS gained his first victory at the 14th attempt when tackling the track and trip earlier this month and though 5lb higher this doesn't look much tougher. Dirchill, another course and distance winner, was almost six lengths behind and though 7lb better off seems unlikely to reverse the form. Naughty Ana has yet to win though her turn doesn't look far away judging by her run at Thirsk but Mo Henry is on a long losing run despite dropping to his lowest ever mark. Lady Amalthea is 0-10 and her best form has been at Chelmsford.
