Next of Kin, Highland Laddie and Silk Drum are the trio for the shortlist in this handicap to close the card and the vote is given to Next Of Kin. The selection was only beaten a nose by Aleatricis last time, form that looks quite solid in the context of this race. That was his first run in a handicap so there should be more to come and he should prove tough to beat. Highland Laddie showed promise on his handicap debut but he appeared as though he failed to see out the trip that day so his ability to get home is a cause for concern. Silk Drum ran respectably at Hamilton last time and the ground should not be a problem, so if he can build on that then he could be capable of getting competitive. Miss Serene is making her handicap debut today and she is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Next Of Kin.
