Rehearsal, Nelsons Column and Vincenzio make most appeal here and the vote is given to Nelson's Column. The selection is eased in grade after being well beaten in a handicap last time, but he will handle this ground and in this kind of company he might be up to the task of getting his head in front. Rehearsal is clearly not as good as he once was and he was disappointing last time. However, in this lowly grade he could be worth another chance. The worry is though that all his best form is on quicker ground and for that reason we will take him on. Vincenzio is interesting as he is relatively lightly-raced and he will relish these ground conditions. However, he was beaten out of sight at Warwick last time and he is hard to recommend with any confidence on the back of that effort, albeit in a better race than this. Dushstorm has managaed to get his head in front four times already this year, so in a race as moderate as this he merits consideration, especially as the ground will not inconvenience him. However this looks like a good opportunity for Nelsons Column who is put forward as the pick.
