This looks to be between Dane's Rock, Premier Times and Lakesdale and the tentative vote goes to Dane's Rock. Patrick Haslam's charge has will benefit form the extra furlong to get into this race here, and has picked up some invaluable racecourse experience this season. Handily weighted and with blinkers reapplied to boost our confidence, he looks capable of going in. Lakesdale is already proven over this trip and went particularly well when second at Newmarket in a seller last week. On the same mark she can can go very well provided she handles this ground. Of the remainder, Premier Times has a bit to find with Lakesdale strictly on official ratings, but he has taken a Ripon seller on soft ground last month and despite flopping since, conditions have come right for him again here so he is respected. Even so, we put up Dane's Rock as a percentage selection here.
