        Verdict

        This low grade handicap can fall to Germanicus, with Satin Rose and Abstract Folly put forward as the main rivals. Roger Charlton's gelding improved for his seasonal debut at Windsor to chase home Wester Lodge in a competitive event at Bath. There should be much more to come and the expenses for the long journey from Beckhampton could be retrieved. Satin Rose comes her following an impressive victory in a Pontefract seller. This is more difficult but she should still make her presence felt. Abstract Folly can be given a big chance on the pick of his recent form, which included a close up third behind Michael's Pride at Redcar. Degree Of Honour gets into the handicap on bottom-weight and looks the pick of the others, but our idea of the winner is Germanicus.
