In depth

Verdict

Court Of Appeal has the best overall form here and can beat Eton, with Extra Cover also expected to run well. Brian Ellison's eight-year-old was successful at Southwell back in May off a mark of 75. However the pick of his runs was over course and distance, finishing a close up third behind Gold Guest. A repeat of that effort should easily be good enough this afternoon. Eton landed a handicap off a mark of 52 last time, so does look up against it today as he carries the same weight as our choice. However he should still be the main danger. Extra Cover ran his best race for sometime when third to Blue Empire at Chester and he should be capable of reaching the frame. Best of the others should be Chaka Zulu, but the race conditions suit Court Of Appeal, who gets a confident vote.
