This course brings the best out of Spring Breeze, who is fancied to have too much resilience for the likes of Best Port and Spitting Image, so it may be down to the unexposed Lady Karr to give the selection the most to do. Lady Karr romped away with a maiden here last November and obviously likes the contours of this unique surface. However, she does not look especially well treated for what she has achieved so far and is vulnerable from the top of the weights. Spitting Image, like Toni Alcala, was no match for the selection when they met here in April and still has a bit to prove despite the reversal at the weights. Best Port has bits and pieces of form that give him place claims in this company and, as he is due to go up in the ratings from tomorrow, he is respected at this level. However, the balance of recent form makes Spring Breeze a stand out selection and anything that manages to take him on for the lead will know they have been in a race as things unfold.
