The market is often a handy guide to these contests but RACING ACE, Cool Cliche and Keen Whip are three likely looking sorts with the first named suggested. Racing Ace hails from a yard that has won this race twice in the past five seasons which immediately marks him down as a horse to be interested in in this line-up and the youngster has run a couple of sound races between the flags this season. His unraced dam is from a good jumping family and he was a relatively short price for his sole point start in Ireland which came in a warm contest and he has time on his side. Cool Cliche regressed in his first spell under Rules but he wasn't beaten far in a point last month and merits respect on the pick of his form whilst his rider has enjoyed a decent season under Rules. Keen Whip is a more experiened pointer and no stranger to success in that sphere and he could feature on his debut in a Hunter Chase whilst a move for Cherryland would be well worth noting but the suggestion is Racing Ace.
