Ann Duffield's Insolenceofoffice deserves to get his head in front having found one too good in each of his last three starts but he looks booked for a place at best again on a surface that he is not certain to handle and a better bet looks to be CAPTAIN KOLO. Tim Easterby's colt ran a race full of promise when finishing just behind Rowan Spirit in a maiden at Haydock won by Scantily Clad last month and he can reverse that form on this even softer surface with improvement to come for his first outing. Red Gold And Green ran well first time up but disappointed last time so looks best watched and of more interest may be Bryan Smart's Hygrove Gal, who lost no caste in defeat at Pontefract when narrowly beaten on her debut. The softer ground today may not be in her favour though and preference is for Captain Kolo.
