Those with experience haven't exactly sparkled so far and there are plenty of newcomers so this race is a minefield for punters. The ground will also be a real test for all the horses. Deslaya may prefer quicker ground based on the sire, but there is staying ability on the dam's side so could do well for a trainer with a decent record here. Ralph Beckett has a 30% record here this year and Abysse has claims with middle distance pedigree. Highest Bid cost 170,000 guineas and will look to repay connections whilst Our Gal was third on debut but may find this a tougher test particularly given the pressures on the stamina with the ground. ISOLATE gets the vote having the benefit of experience, she has shown progression and given the pedigree should relish some cut in the ground. Moonlight Mystery doesn't have the benefit of experience but this filly is a sister to winners over this trip and could handle the heavy ground on debut.
